We look forward to seeing you this WEDNESDAY for the Cherokee County Advisory Meeting for a presentation on Georgia Express Lanes Program Briefing / Northwest Corridor Project Update with Deputy Executive Director Bert Brantley of SRTA and John Hancock of GDOT.
THIS WILL OCCUR AT THE CHEROKEE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING LOCATED AT 1130 BLUFFS PARKWAY, CANTON GEORGIA 30114
We are excited to announce that Bert Brantley, who is the Deputy Executive Director of State Road and Toll Authority (SRTA) will also present to Council Members, in addition to GDOT Project Manager John Hancock. Before becoming Deputy Executive Director of SRTA, Bert served as the Director of Communications in the Office of Governor Sonny Perdue. Bert and John will give a full overview of the projects affecting Cherokee County, along with other additional highlights of projects in the Metro Region and how they will affect Cherokee/Cobb County. - Graduated from Florida State University with a BS in civil engineering
- Has proudly served GDOT for the last 17 years working in Construction, Engineering Services, Urban Design, Innovative Delivery and P3 offices.
- Has worked on Design-Build, managed lanes, toll and Major Projects, and providing Engineering and Project Management services for the Public, Private, Partnership (P3) program, as well as the Northwest Corridor which is being delivered under a P3 contract.
