Robin Morey serves as the Vice President, Campus Services and Chief Planning Officer of Emory. The alignment of these critical mission areas enhance Emory's financial efficiencies and streamlines resources for the entire enterprise.
Morey partners with university leadership to resource and catalyze the university's mission by translating strategies and goals into actionable plans with results-driven outcomes. He supports and provides leadership, structure, and a data-driven framework for capital master planning that identifies long-range needs that align academic, research, administrative, and organizational priorities guided by implementation of the university's strategic planning.
Prior to joining Emory, at Georgetown University, Robin served as the vice president for planning and facilities management. In this role, he led Georgetown's master planning and campus planning efforts while guiding day-to-day operations for the university's facilities management, transportation services, capital reconstruction programs, campus utilities, real estate services, and sustainability programs and initiatives. Robin also served the Architect of the Capital as the Superintendent of the Senate Office Buildings responsible for physical planning, construction, renovations, sustainability and day to day operations.
Lieutenant Colonel Morey (Ret.) was a commissioned officer in the District of Columbia Air National Guard for 22 years and served on numerous active-duty tours, including Operation Enduring Freedom.
Robin holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland–College Park and is an alumnus of the Wharton School. Robin is also a graduate of Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base, and is a certified facility manager, and LEED-accredited.
