Due to the LINK trip and a number of members who could not attend the regularly scheduled May 6th North Fulton Advisory Meeting, the Council has rescheduled the meeting to May 13th at 8am and will feature Fulton County Chief Operating Officer (COO) Todd Long, who will update on the ongoing TSPLOST Project discussions and other Fulton County issues. Please RSVP at the bottom of this email.

Todd runs all day-to-day operations of Fulton County’s citizen-facing departments and will be ultimately responsible for citizen satisfaction with services and improving efficiency in operations. Mr. Long served as Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Transportation. In this capacity, he helped lead a 4,100 person organization with a $2 billion operating budget. He brings more than 25 years of experience in transportation planning, engineering, and administration. He served as the first Governor-appointed Director of Planning when the position was created by the Georgia Legislature in 2009. His background and expertise will be key as Fulton County begins planning for the TSPLOST initiative.. Mr. Long is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering.
