Cobb County native, Jessica Guinn has provided planning and community development expertise to communities throughout the Atlanta region and beyond- including Henry County, College Park, Woodstock, and Dunwoody, to name a few.
In 2019, Jessica was appointed Community Development Director in Cobb County, where she leads a team of 125 professionals in providing planning, zoning, economic development, development and inspections, erosion control, business license, and code enforcement services for her home county.
Jessica is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, as well as a Masters of Public Administration degree. She was honored to have been selected for the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Regional Leadership Institute, Georgia Trend Magazine “40 Under 40,” and most recently as one of Engineering Georgia Magazine’s “100 Influential Women in Georgia Engineering.” Jessica resides in Acworth with her husband Ryan and son Eric.
