Eric Meyer
Agency Director, Development & Infrastructure
City of Powder Springs
Eric Meyer is the Agency Director for Development and Infrastructure for the City of Powder Springs. He is new with the City, having started in June 2022. He oversees Community Development, Public Works, Sanitation, and Stormwater.
Prior to joining the City, Eric worked for Cobb and DeKalb counties with a focus on transportation. Following hurricane Katrina, he spent seven years on the Mississippi coast he served as the Director of Planning and Economic Development with the City of Ocean Springs.
Eric Meyer has thirty years of policy, legislative, planning and design work experience including work at the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority and the Regional Business Coalition. Eric Meyer earned his B.S. Industrial Systems Engineering and M.S. Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”).
Tina Garver
Director of Community Development
City of Powder Springs
Tina Garver has over 15 years of experience in city government. She currently serves as the Community Development Director with the City of Powder Springs, an evolution from her previous role as a Special Projects Coordinator with a focus on zoning, GIS, and general planning services. She has overseen numerous development and policy projects that have helped Powder Springs nurture and preserve its historic downtown. She holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
