Event Description:
Join the Council's Emerging Leaders Initiative for a discussion about the economic impacts of bringing a World Series home to Atlanta. How did the effects of winning a playoff series, a parade, the trophy, and all the extra publicity trickle-down to region's local economies and communities, and what does it mean for the future of the Braves? We'll hear from Mike Plant, President & CEO of the Braves Development Company, and Kim Menefee, Executive Director of the Cumberland CID before walking over to see our Atlanta Braves take on the San Francisco Giants at Truist Park.
