Mr. McGahee has worked with local governments for 35 years specializing in downtown redevelopment using existing resources, infill construction, and repurposing buildings to meet the needs of each generation through everlasting design elements and incentivizing real estate transactions through the public process.
Mr. McGahee became the Economic Development Manager for the City of Duluth in October 2008. He has worked to preserve the heritage of Duluth while incorporating that heritage in next generation buildings and businesses. His driving philosophy is pushing building design which survives your grandchildren and maybe your great grandchildren. They decide your legacy.
