Join the Council for Quality Growth's Gwinnett County Advisory Roundtable on April 23rd at 8:00 AM in-person at Andersen, Tate & Carr in Duluth to hear a City of Sugar Hill update from Mayor Brandon Hembree.

Prior to being elected as the Mayor of Sugar Hill, Brandon served as a City Council Member for Sugar Hill. As a Council Member, Brandon focused his attention on projects that helped instill a sense of community and place, such as the start of the Sugar Hill Greenway, the restoration of Crayfish Creek, the creation of the Veterans Memorial, the restoration of Sugar Hill Historic Cemetery, the creation of the Suite Spot - Sugar Hill's small business incubator, and many other initiatives.
Professionally, Brandon is a Partner with Impact Public Affairs. Brandon previously served as a Staff Aide for the Senate Appropriations Committee beginning in 1998, as a Legislative Associate with Ford Motor Company in the company’s southeastern governmental affairs office beginning in mid-1998, and as the Marketing, Governmental Affairs, Communications, and Customer Service Director for the Georgia Department of Administrative Services beginning in 2001.
Brandon grew up in Gwinnett County. He graduated from Berkmar High School and later Georgia State University with a B.A. in Political Science/Pre-Law. Brandon and his wife Tara currently live in the Glen at Level Creek Subdivision and are active members and volunteers at Sugar Hill Church.
