Join the Council's Henry County Advisory Committee featuring Randy Knighton, City Manager, City of Stockbridge.
Prior to joining the City of Stockbridge, Mr. Knighton was the Hall County Administrator. Prior to that he served four years as Hall County’s Senior Planner and five years as Planning Director. He has also held positions in Orange County, Florida’s Planning Department, the City of Orlando’s Planning Department as well as Osceola County, Florida’s Planning Department.
Mr. Knighton earned a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice degree from the University of Central Florida. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and the American Planning Association (APA). He is also a credentialed manager of the International City/County Managers’ Association (ICMA). Mr. Knighton and his wife, Debbie, have two children, Randy II and Ryan.
