Join the Council for Quality Growth's North Fulton Advisory Roundtable on September 6th at 8:15 AM in-person at the CQG Office at Palisades Office Park. The meeting's guest speaker will be Tim Matthews, Assistant P3 Division Director for the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Tim is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Tim currently serves as the Assistant P3 Division Director and P3/Design Build Administrator for GDOT. He is responsible for oversight and coordination of the Departments P3 program.
In addition, Tim has served in Higher Education as an Adjunct Professor/Guest Lecturer and in the private sector for Transportation. Prior to earning his Civil Engineering degree, Tim served in the United States Navy aboard the USS California (CGN 36) near Seattle, Washington.
Tim lives in Atlanta GA with his wife Karyn, and their two boys Aidan and Alex. He enjoys running, hiking, traveling and going to Braves Games. Mr. Matthews is a registered professional engineer and has twenty-two (22) years of experience in the highway industry. Mr. Matthews began his career at the Georgia Department of Transportation in 2002 and has served in various roles with GDOT including Program/Project Manager, Design Engineer, District Preconstruction Engineer, Senior Design Build Engineer, and State Express Lanes Administrator.
