Sharon D. Subadan currently serves as the City Manager of the City of South Fulton, GA, where she acts as the administrative head of the city's government and the chief executive officer of the city. Appointed by the Mayor and City Council, Subadan is responsible for managing the city, implementing policies, and overseeing operations. She works closely with the Mayor, City Council, and staff to develop and execute a vision for the community’s future. She oversees over 700 employees and manages a budget of $206 million.

Renowned as a highly adept leader and dynamic senior executive, Ms. Subadan has a distinguished track record of cultivating effective teams, fostering growth opportunities, and implementing financially prudent strategies. She is a results-driven leader specializing in Organizational Development and Team Building, Operational and Fiscal Efficiency, Sustainable Environmental Initiatives, Forecasting and Budgeting, Public-Private Partnerships, Multi-Sector Collaboration, Economic Development, and Strategic Planning.   

With an illustrious career spanning over 34 years in public service, Ms. Subadan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise garnered from her tenure in Miami-Dade County, Florida; Montgomery County, Maryland; Hillsborough County (Tampa), Florida; and Albany and Douglas County, Georgia. Throughout her leadership roles in government, she has managed in communities with budgets exceeding $4.4 billion, employee counts surpassing 4,200, and served populations of up to 1.4 million residents, consistently achieving groundbreaking progress in advancing progressive improvement initiatives. As a management consultant, Subadan specialized in organizational development, operational and fiscal effectiveness, public-private partnerships, multi-sector collaboration, business development, and strategic planning through her role as CEO of Carron Solutions, LLC. 

Ms. Subadan has also contributed her expertise as a National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) board member of the Georgia City/County Management Association. She has served on various committees for the Georgia Municipal Association. Her involvement included roles as Treasurer for the Albany Economic Development Commission and Secretary/Treasurer for the Albany Convention & Visitors Bureau.

She holds a master’s degree from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from Trinity International University. Additionally, Ms. Subadan has completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Executive Education. Furthermore, she is recognized as an International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Credentialed Manager, a Certified Public Manager, a Lean Six- Sigma Black Belt, and a certified Emotional Intelligence trainer.
