DESCRIPTION:Join the Council for Quality Growth's Cobb County Advisory Roundtable on June 10\, 2026 at 12 PM.\n\n\n\nMegan Will\n\nDirector of Planning & Projects\n\nCumberland CID\n\nMegan serves as the Director of Planning and Projects for the Cumberland CID and One Cumberland. In this role\, Megan collaborates with internal and external partners to lead and deliver the organizations' portfolio of capital projects and oversees planning studies to identify future projects that further Cumberland's interests.\n\n\n\nMegan joined the Cumberland CID and One Cumberland upon returning to Atlanta after a decade serving as a municipal planner in Florida and Texas. Most recently\, Megan was the Director of Planning and Development for the City of Bee Cave\, Texas\, a suburb of Austin. During her tenure\, Megan negotiated the entitlements for a variety of place-defining mixed-use developments and managed the city's engineering\, planning\, permitting\, and code enforcement services. Before working in the public sector\, Megan held several senior planner and project manager positions with Atlanta-based engineering firms. \n\n\n\nMegan has a Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg\, Virginia\, and a Master of City and Regional Planning from Georgia Institute of Technology. Megan attended Pope High School and swam with the Stingrays Swim Team while living in East Cobb as a teenager. She and her husband Christian have two school-aged children\, Julia and Henry. \n\n\n\nTarik Milner\n\nPlanning & Projects Manager\n\nCumberland CID\n\nTarik Milner is the Planning and Projects Manager of the Cumberland Community Improvement District. He manages the operations for the CID's beautification initiatives\, landscape enhancements\, and asset management and installations.\n\n\n\nPrior to arriving at the CID\, Tarik served in a leadership role at H.E.H. Paving Inc.\, an Atlanta-based asphalt paving company that has served the Metro Atlanta area for over 30 years. During his 6 years at H.E.H.\, Tarik led his team to complete numerous road resurfacing projects for GDOT as well as local government clients such as the City of Atlanta\, DeKalb County\, Clayton County\, and the City of Decatur. These projects totaled nearly $10 million in revenue and resulted in hundreds of miles of improved roads for various communities.\n\n\n\nTarik earned his bachelor's degree in applied manufacturing management from Jacksonville State University while playing football on a full athletic scholarship. He then continued his athletic career while earning his master's degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Central Florida. Tarik was born and raised in Cobb County and is a current resident of Smyrna.
