DESCRIPTION:Join the Council for Quality Growth's Gwinnett County Advisory Roundtable on December 8 at 8:00 AM.\n\nPaul Radford\n\nCity Manager\n\nCity of Sugar Hill\n\nPaul was named City Manager of Sugar Hill in 2013\, after serving for twelve years as the Deputy Executive Director of the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA). At GMA\, he oversaw the association's state and federal governmental relations\, research and policy development\, public information and communications\, membership outreach and downtown development services.\n\nBefore GMA\, Paul served as Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs\, working under four Governors\, and helped design and implement most of the major programs and policy requirements related to local government. Early in his career\, he was an Economic Director and Community Development Director at two regional commissions\, and the first County Manager of Cook County\, Georgia.\n\nPaul serves as the District 2 representative on the Atlanta-Region Transit Link Authority (ATL) Board of Directors and represents the ATL on the Atlanta Regional Commission Transportation and Air Quality Committee (TAQC). He also serves on the Georgia Municipal Association Legislative Policy Council. He brings an extensive governmental management background and a passion for vibrant\, connected communities to his work in Sugar Hill.\n\nPaul received his BA from Roanoke College in Salem\, Virginia\, and his Master of Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech.
