Travis Lindley
Ward 3 Councilman
City of Smyrna

Travis is a second-generation Smyrna native. He grew up in present-day Ward 3 off Lake Drive, and appreciates how Smyrna has grown into the great community it is today. Travis attended Smyrna grade schools, graduated from Campbell High School, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop 88 in 1991.  Travis earned a Communications degree from the University of West Georgia. Today, Travis resides on Concord Lake Lane in Concord Lake Village.

As a small business owner who has co-founded three local businesses, Travis understands the daily impact that our local government has on our community and on our lives. He understands the importance of accountable government, quality schools, maintaining lower taxes, and a safe community.

Travis served as an appointee on the City of Smyrna Downtown Development Authority for several years and is a member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. He is an active member of Smyrna First United Methodist Church since 1986, and serves in a key leadership role at the church. Additionally, he has served as the Concord Lake Village Homeowners Association President since 2015.

Travis serves as committee chair to several key committees for the City of Smyrna and is proud of the great work and progress the city has made in recent years.

Travis is a travel enthusiast. In 2024, he accomplished a bucket list item by visiting 50 countries, all 7 continents, all 50 states and a majority of the U.S. National Parks.  He has been fortunate to visit world wonders such as Machu Picchu, the Great Pyramids, Petrea, the Roman Colosseum, and Victoria Falls. He was honored to visit the Holy Land twice, has climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and took part in an up-close-and-personal safari tour in Africa.
